Covid Vaccination at School

COVID-19 VACCINATION REPORT Covid-19 Vaccination Drive was organized by Manovikas School in association with Urban Health Centre Margao on 5 th January 2022 for the students of Std 9 & 10 (born before January 2007). We received 63 entries through Google form, out of which 49 students availed the facility at school. Students vaccinated on 5 th January 2022, are due for their second Vaccination dose on 2 nd February 2022. To encourage the remaining students to take Covid-19 Vaccine, Class teachers of Std 10 & 9 counselled the students by sending regular messages on benefits of Vaccination. Students were updated the with Vaccination drives held at various places in Margao. (Other Schools, Margao Health Centre, South Goa District Hospital). A video sent by Urban Health Centre Margao on ‘Pros, Cons and Effectiveness of Covid – 19’ was shared via Google classroom. More than 75% of our school students are vaccinated with first dose. The Urban Health Centre Margao, has appreciated the Staff members of our Schools for all our efforts and motivation. Principal, Vice Principal and Class Teachers of Std 9 &10 extended their gratitude to the medical team from Urban Health Centre Margao through a letter of appreciation.
